NATIONAL SERVICE

In this dark time, when children both murder and are murdered, we need to stick together.
The violence in Sweden is a national crisis, and it is high time for us Christians – Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant – to show that we stand united in disasters, in the mission to comfort the grieving and in praying for an end to the violence, mercy for the country and national reconciliation.

We gather not for an organization or a name, but as a people.
A people who stand up for Jesus, for Sweden and for the future.
Together we say: ENOUGH against gun violence – and we stand with the relatives in grief, in faith and in hope for a transformed country.

"I can't bear to see any more misery. My heart is breaking."
There is a God who can and wants to heal everything that is broken.”
— Sebastian Stakset

January 31st is not an evening for ourselves, but an evening when we stand in solidarity with those who mourn, serve our country and show love to the people who live here. When everything shakes, we stand together. We believe in a new Sweden – where hope can live again.

Now is the time. For us as believers, churches and communities to unite, pray and rise up – together.
